Discover Wigwam’s serene setting and facilities
Stepping into camp you are immediately transported to the way life should be. Majestic pines greet you at the gate and guide you all the way down to the Main Lodge where breathtaking views of Bear Lake abound. Few spots in Maine have a natural setting like Camp Wigwam! Our mission has always been to keep the property pristine, scenic, and wild.

The Lodge
The central hub of camp. From flag raising to taps, this place is bouncing with activity nonstop. Ping pong, four square, chess, quiet reading and smorgasbord games are just some of the frequent Lodge activities.
The Bunks
With 40 bunks and platform tents, each of the sleeping quarters has its own charm and character.
The Waterfront
Life skills from swimming to sailing, fishing and canoeing, the waterfront is a place for quality instruction and refreshing dips.
Athletics
7 tennis courts, 2 baseball diamonds, soccer pitches, basketball court and mini-hoops, beach volleyball, street hockey court, 30 foot climbing tower, archery range, boxing gym, fencing area, and putt-putt course!
The Arts
Projects big and small at ceramics, woodworking, film studio, model rocketry, music production, and newspaper.
Waterskiing
A truly first class waterskiing program run by the amazing Peter Farber (since 1973!). Start on the boom and progress to longline barefoot.
Theater
Keeping with our founders’ Broadway roots, the theater program is strong with Sunday talent shows, evening entertainers, and a Parent’s Day theatrical production.
Tripping
Rarely are all these vehicles at camp as we’re always on outings to the mountains, Portland Sea Dogs, blueberry picking, gem mining, and much more!
Dining
Taco Tuesday! Sunday brunch eggs benny! Thursday theme nights! Options galore from our amazing kitchen. Every hot meal is complemented with sliced fruit or salad bar.
