# Life at Camp

Daily traditions, cherished lingo, and unforgettable moments

Traditions

## Practice Your Wigwam Lingo

### Bear Lake Cheer

"Bear, Bear Lake… Yow, Wildcats. W I G – wig, W A M – wam, W I G… W A M. Wigwam, Wigwam, Wigwam"

### Upper/Lower Diamond

The Upper Diamond, or "Uppah" D, is where campers live and play. The Lower D supports Wigwam's baseball and soccer fields.

### Bunk Row/Tent Row

Bunk row houses the youngest campers, while tent row is home to CIT's and JC's.

### Ach Du Schoene

"Isn't it beautiful"… A hand-painted 16-section cartoon depicting the funny and memorable events of a particular summer.

### The Pooch

The most beautiful outdoor basketball court in the state of Maine! Named after former camper Matt Poochio.

### Bunk Week

Introduces campers to every facet of camp life and ensures strong bonds across their age group.

### Wigwam Plaques

Campers receive a plaque engraved with their name and bars for their participation at areas of focus, brought back each year.

### The Pyramid

Once a summer during Parent's Day, a full-length waterski show headlined by the incredible Pyramid act.

### Polar Bear Club

Wake up early Sunday morning to the sound of a shofar and jump in the lake for a chilly dip!

### Smorgasboard

Badminton, shuffleboard, roofball, gaga, four-square, bocce, ping pong, and the many activities around the lodge.
